Arthur Kipps has a story to tell. A story so terrifying that he has been haunted by it for years…

Sent by his employer to the isolated township of Eel Marsh, Arthur encounters a village still reeling from the past and from the unspeakable acts that befell its most infamous inhabitants. What happened to Arthur those twenty odd years ago has left him a damaged man, filled with the desire to re-enact - and hopefully exorcise - those events.

But Arthur is no showman. Unable to recount his story alone, he employs the services of a professional Actor to assist him. Together in an abandoned theatre, they must face the horror that lies beneath the swamps of Eel Marsh House.
